In anticipation of Ipswich’s debut studio album, Baby factory, released through MUZAI Records from July 20th, the band have once more graced Internet audiences who love a good download with… well… a good download: “Soy Division”, the first single to emerge from the album.
The single was debuted on Auckland radio station 95bFM during an interview with the band on May 18th; a mere few hours before their debut Auckland show, and was instantly met with an abundance of praise from people on Twitter. People who have 1) a discernible taste for good music and 2) the Internet to hide behind as to utter slate any music that isn’t good.
With this in mind, both the band and MUZAI Records are celebrating an album being ready ahead of schedule by offering “Soy Division” as a free download – in the efforts to not only drum up promotion for their debut album, not only because we really, really like everyone for their support, but in the vein hope that The Corner review this for “Good Sounds Good/Bad Sounds Bad” and bestow upon Steve, Matt and Jamie this rite of passage…
